Our Story
Kahf Welfare Foundation was founded in November 2021 by a group of 10th Standard friends who reunited after 24 years.
Inspired by the story of Ashab-e-Kahf in the Holy Qur’an—people who awoke after a long time with renewed purpose—the name “Kahf” was chosen to reflect both the friends’ reunion and their shared mission to bring positive change. What began as a heartfelt idea to keep their bond alive while serving humanity soon evolved into a dedicated, community-focused platform aimed at uplifting underprivileged lives through education, healthcare, livelihood support, and social welfare initiatives.
After two years of impactful work, the founders initiated the process to formally register the organization with the Social Welfare Department of the Punjab Government. Following thorough procedures and official verifications, Kahf Welfare Foundation was successfully registered in August 2025. Today, the foundation proudly runs diverse programs including free computer and stitching training, a low-cost dispensary with free medicine, interest-free loans for small businesses, cloth distribution, Iftaar meals in Ramadan, tree plantation drives, and the Nikah Asaan program for widows’ daughters.
United by friendship, faith, and compassion, we remain committed to building a stronger, more caring society—one act of kindness at a time.
